Writing 9

It was a little tough writing session yesterday. Tough in a sense that our tutee had a 15 page paper due that she had only 3 completed. It wasn't due until another two weeks so we weren't at least pressed for time but she was stuck at what more can she talk about. We told her how she has the freedom to go into details and she should really structure her paper by breaking it down into various sub-topics. She did come up with a lot of her ideas about how much more can she talk about that she would usually omit due to lengthiness. She seemed quite satisfied after jotting down the notes for the paper.

  • It sounds like you guys had a productive session, even if it was tough-- it's good to be able to brainstorm with people to help them lengthen their work. nw
